BUESCHER AT DOVER… Buescher has made one previous start at Dover (Del.) International Speedway, as he competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event last season (2009). The 20-year-old started his first race at the concrete oval from the 17th position, but quickly moved into the top-15. Running as high as sixth-place, Buescher was struck with bad luck as his right front tire blew under caution on lap 80. After making repairs on pit road, Buescher had a continuous tire rub which sparked a fire in the cockpit. Upon exit of his truck, the youngster spent a small stint in the infield care before returning to the track and finishing in the 24th position.
RETURN TO THE SERIES... As announced earlier this week, Buescher has parted ways with Phoenix Racing and will turn his attention to his efforts in the Truck Series with Turner Motorsports. Buescher will compete on a full-time basis, piloting the No. 31 Wolf Pack Rentals Chevrolet for the remainder of the season.
REARVIEW MIRROR… Since making his first start in November 2008, Buescher has competed in 28 Truck Series races in his short career. This season, Buescher did not participate in the first three events, but in the past two races at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway and Kansas Speedway, the young gun has captured two top-16 finishes, while completing 99.4% of the laps attempted (315 of 317).
DID YOU KNOW?... The last two Truck Series events at the Monster Mile have been won by first-time winners. Buescher looks to make it three-in-a-row as the Texas native seeks his first victory in NASCAR.
CHASSIS INFORMATION… Crew chief Michael Shelton has chosen Turner Motorsport chassis No. 006 for Buescher to run at Kansas this weekend. Chassis No. 006 is brand new, as Kevin Harvick Inc. put the body on the Leavitt chassis. This Chevrolet will see the track for this first time during the practice session on Thursday.
LOOKING BACK… Two weeks ago at Kansas Speedway, Buescher made his debut with Turner Motorsports in the Camping World Truck Series and didn’t waste any time placing his Chevrolet up front on the speed charts. After qualifying in the 11th position, Buescher rapidly moved into the top-five where the youngster ran for the majority of the race. Unfortunately with eight laps remaining, Buescher’s No. 31 Wolf Pack Rentals Chevrolet ran out of fuel, relegating the team to a 16th-place finish.

QUOTES FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL:
BUESCHER (On the mental and physical toughness Dover requires): “Dover is a very demanding track. The track is very fast and a lot happens so quickly that you have to be up on the wheel the entire race. It is one of the tracks that we go to that requires you to be on top of your game mentally and physically. If you lose concentration, you can get caught up in someone else’s problems or you can make a mistake of your own. But if you can leave Dover with a good finish, you can carry that momentum into the next week. I’m excited to be back in the Wolf Pack Rentals Chevrolet for the rest of the season and I’m confident that we can run up front and contend for wins each week.”
